Torrington Dental Practice was established in 1997 by principal dentist Ian Mills as a single surgery practice offering NHS and private dental care for the population of Great Torrington and the surrounding area.
In 2003 we moved to our current premises in Haldon Terrace to accommodate new patients and partners, and in 2019 the practice underwent major expansion and refurbishment as part of our ongoing commitment to extend access to outstanding dental care across Devon.
Today, our NHS and private patients benefit from access to eight state-of-the-art surgeries, an Oral Health Education Suite, bright and welcoming reception and waiting areas, and enhanced disability access. We are also home to Devon Dental Implant Centre which regularly receives implant and complex dentistry referrals from more than 70 regional practices across Devon and the south-west.
We offer a wide range of services including preventative dentistry, restorative dentistry, aesthetic treatments, and oral hygiene therapy. We also provide a sedation clinic for anxious patients, home visits for those who are unable to attend the practice, and an oral health community outreach programme for local schools and care homes.
Torrington Dental Practice is led by Ian Mills, Zena Brenchley and Rhys Gabe, the partners of the practice, and supported by a skilled team of clinicians, dental nurses, and administrative staff.
