Welcome to a new dentist
We’re delighted to welcome dentist Ella Vincent to the team. Ella grew up in a rural area of Hampshire before moving to Manchester to study dentistry. She has since moved back to the countryside in North Devon to work in practice. She enjoys all aspects of general practice but has particular interests in children’s dentistry and oral surgery, and she looks forward to expanding her experience in these areas at TDP. She also hopes to work towards her MFDS qualification this year.
Volunteering in Uganda
Dentist Cameron Shaw has been volunteering in Uganda. Seeing over 10,000 patients during his 2-week trip, the team visited rural communities. There was often a long queue, but people were happy to wait because this could be the only chance they had to see a dentist. Cameron – ”I am very grateful for the generosity of the practice as they have donated up to £1,000 worth of vital supplies for the aid I have provided. This includes local anaesthetic, filling materials and many more essential items I may need along the way”
