Torrington Dental Practice enjoyed a fun day out at the North Devon Show last week, meeting patients old and new. Members of our team were on hand to chat through any dental questions and go over the treatments and membership plans we offer. And Colin the Croc, our friendly practice mascot who came along to promote better oral health, was in constant demand for selfies!
Our competition drew crowds of enthusiastic young children throughout the day, all eager to throw food items into the gaping mouths of cartoon characters. Those with the most points won electric toothbrushes and water bottles – but no one went away empty handed. There were paper goody bags galore for all our young visitors containing a toothbrush and delicious apple, the fruit supplied by our friendly Torrington greengrocer, Xanadu.
If you missed us at the North Devon show and have any questions or concerns about your dental or oral health, do visit us at our surgery on Halsdon Terrace, Great Torrington. Whilst our NHS lists are currently full, we are taking on new private patients and offer a wide range of preventative, restorative and aesthetic dental treatments.
If you are lucky, you might even bump into Colin the Croc, who is getting very excited about our new Oral Health Education suite, which will open in September!
