Having been with the practice over 20 years, I can absolutely recommend TDP as highly Professional in all aspects of dentistry and care. Suhayl is an excellent dentist, always making sure the patient is completely at ease and fully informed about the treatment and cost. I had a badly decayed tooth removed yesterday and some aprehension about the tooth snapping, but I completely trusted Suhayl would take his time and go about things in the best way. Surely enough and even though the roots were both going in different directions, the tooth and roots all came out intact. I can't thank you enough Suhayl, absolutely brilliant! Also, a big thank you to the wonderful reception team that are always so focused and caring, I couldn't ask for more.

I’ve just had a dental implant, and I can honestly say the whole experience has been exceptional. Ian Mills is such a calm, reassuring dentist and is excellent at what he does. He took the time to explain everything, making me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure.

The whole team are amazing—friendly, caring, and professional from the moment you walk through the door. There’s never any need to feel worried or scared about going to the dentist here because everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

The surgery itself is beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I can’t recommend Ian Mills and his wonderful team highly enough. Thank you all for such outstanding care

I underwent a complex root canal treatment with James after initially visiting with a painful toothache and a great deal of dental anxiety from bad experiences as a teenager. From the very first appointment, he was patient, attentive, and compassionate, taking the time to explain each stage of the process clearly and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout.
What stood out most was his genuine commitment to saving the tooth and the calm, reassuring manner in which he approached the treatment. His professionalism, expertise, and empathy helped ease my anxiety significantly and, over the course of treatment, he has helped me overcome many long-standing dental fears.
I felt fully informed, supported, and reassured at every stage, and the standard of care I received was exceptional. I’m incredibly grateful for the positive experience and would highly recommend James to anyone, especially those who feel nervous about dental treatment. I never thought I would have been able to complete the course of treatment without sedation but James’ nature made this possible.

Your practice supports three members of our family. Huge thank you to Suhayl for looking after us all so well. He is such a lovely disposition, makes you feel super welcome and relaxed. Talks through all treatment options with you, and what he doing at each stage whilst he is carrying out treatment. Izzy who works alongside him is an absolute treasure too. Had my first experience of a filling today at Torrington Dental Practice though I needn’t have worried as Suhayl and Issy were absolutely amazing! We had a quick chat before the treatment started and I was able to have my music playing in my headphones for the entire time which meant I could completely focus on listening to my playlist rather than what was going on!
