New reception at TDP
Work has finally finished on our new waiting areas and reception at TDP, and we couldn’t be happier for our patients and our team. We would like to thank you all for your patience during the upheaval and hope you agree that it was worth the wait!
From the calming new colour scheme to the bright, spacious waiting areas and comfortable seating, we have worked hard to create a relaxed and welcoming environment with improved patient access and amenities for all. Among the new facilities, we are also now pleased to offer are:
• A disability-compliant reception desk with a lower-level section for wheelchair users
• Enhanced disability access and more space for wheelchair users
• Greater privacy, with the option for patients to talk to staff in private
• Additional patient toilets
• Baby changing facilities
We have also added a second waiting room on the first floor for our complex dentistry patients and to provide a calm and quiet environment for nervous patients.
Work is continuing throughout October to redecorate our hall, stairs, and landing areas and lay new flooring. We are also re-sitting our inhalation sedation facilities in a downstairs surgery room for ease of patient access and putting the finishing touches on our new Oral Health Education Suite, which is scheduled to open at the end of the month.
